It was windy, very windy for a night in the Chamonix valley. We had gusts of wind reaching 180 km per hour! The wind lashed at the valley, tearing off roofs, toppling trees, squashing cars and closing roads. In the morning some of the forests looked like a wrecking ball had been taken to them. The devastation was scary!
A few days later after the forest seem to have settled we took our big beastie bikes out for there first run after winter. After a quick tyre pump up we raced off looking for puddles to splash through! The path was often barred by fallen trees, which we had to scrabble through with our bikes. They did make a fun play ground tho!
