Taken on the night the supermoon was full in April 2020 during the Covid-19 lock down. The moon is just about to crest above Mont Maudit creating an amazing aurora behind the mountain.
This was taken from a bivi on the glacial moraine next to the Le Tour Glacier. Another super clear night and the Milky Way was super clear as it blasts out over the Aiguille Verte in the background and Aiguille du Chardonnet in the foregound.
Another taken from the Emmoson Dam in Switzerland, a little later than the previous and the Milkyway Appears more vertical here.
From a bivi on Bec Lachat above Argentiere, sitting admiring the view of the Argentiere Glacier, the Aiguille Vert in the front, the Droites, the Courtes following on to the back.
Another taken from the Col du Montets in France. No car headlights this time so just a beautiful silhouette of the trees and reflection in the lake.
